This is a GPL Perl script to cleanup space hogging cache files created by The GIMP. GIMP uses these files for picture previews. They are not used for anything else and are left on your hard drive after exiting The GIMP. If you value your privacy, or use The GIMP a lot and have lots of these cache files cluttering up Inodes, save yourself some diskspace with this script. |

This can split a file _in place_, which means: if you have a 700 MB
movie, and you want to split it up to 15 MB pieces, then you only need a bit more than 15 MB free space (let's say 16 MB) to use this program. By the end the original file will be gone, only the pieces will stay. |
