WebRFM (Web-based Remote File Manager) is a CGI-Perl program aimed at providing a single solution for remote web-based file management. It can replace traditional FTP-based access for that purpose. It is suitable for managing websites, as well as for more general purpose file management tasks.

   FTPex  

FTPex lists all the files in a specified directory on your server in a way like FTP servers. But now you can customize the layout of the page in any way you want! FTPex was designed especially for webmasters who want to distribute files through FTP. As many Internet users still prefer using a browser to surf on all the protocols (HTTP, FTP, etc.), if you run a FTP server, many visitors would not access it with a FTP client. However, when accessing FTP servers with a browser, it will only display an ugly plain white page, and, it takes long to log on the FTP server. FTPex solves this problem by listing all the files on the FTP server through HTTP, when a user wants to get the actual files, FTPex will redirect him to the files on the FTP server. This is much faster and preferable.

Using CGI scripts, clients can remotely make file transfers with the server without help from the webmaster. SiteMgr YAP is a set of perl scripts that let webmasters give their users the chance of managing homepages from the browser. The users of SiteMgr YAP may create their homepages from the editing window, or upload html files from their local machines to the web server. They also have the possibility of deleting, renaming and copying files or directories. Navigating through the directories, and seeing the generated pages is also very easy with SiteMgr YAP.

textconverter.cgi is a small cgi script which allows you to easily convert text files to html templates, whether they are stored on your desktop or your website. Every text file will be stored in its own html template. It will also create an index html file from which all templates are linked. So you just have to link to this index html from within your website.

The Script merges a datafile into a source template to form a destination file. It embeds the datafile within the html of the source file.

   DirPHP  

DirPHP is a quick tool for a) displaying all files in its same directory and color coding and organizing by several factors, b) displaying fellow PHP files' source code instead of simply linking to them (allowing the user to see the code non-parsed by the server), and c) performing simple file uploads to the directory. DirPHP is extremely simple to install and use. No configuration is required, and the script is contained in a single PHP file, allowing the program to simply be placed in a webserver directory and have instant functionality.
