spiderMail v2.1 is a complex form mailer. All of the data entered in a form is sent to an e-mail address specified in the form or the script itself. A subject and "from" address address may also be specified. The user input is also printed to the screen. The e-mail and screen presentation are formatted according to two separate templates completely customizable by the site owner. The site owner may create an address book so that aliases can be used in place of e-mail addresses. This will effectively hide your e-mail addresses from users and even malicious scripts which search Web pages for addresses. Version 2.1 allows optional protection from off-site use of the script. |

Validator Class is a PHP object that can be used to validate the presence of HTML form data. By "validating", the function simply checks if a variable is NOT NULL. The class is intended to be called AFTER the end-user has submitted an HTML form. The class is first initiated, then the validate_fields function is called by passing the field names of all the required form fields. If any of the variables (field names) are NULL the function returns FALSE, along with an error message of which fields are null. If all the variables are NOT NULL, the function returns TRUE. Validator Class has the ability to check multiple fields at once, and check that at least one field in a group of many has been filled in by the end-user |

Unlike many other form processors out there this script has quite a good protection. It sets cookies for spam protection and validates the emailaddresses. 24 Mail is totally template driven, which means that you can easily customize it without knowing any PHP. It can be used to allow anyone to email anyone or just to email you, the webmaster. It is also possible to send the mail to several people simultaneous! |
